Part of a tour organized by Canada’s Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade for international delegates attending Globe 2008 Barrie’s presentation provided an overview of the EcoSmart Foundation and its projects primarily EcoSmart concrete. Barrie discussed the environmental impact of the cement and concrete industry and focused on the benefits of SCM concrete. The presentation took place at the Seymour Filtration Plant in North Vancouver BC components of which were built using HVFA concrete.
