David Barrie and Roy Sage of EcoSmart provide an overview of supplementary cementing materials the links between cement and climate change and EcoSmart s SOS software development project. SOS or Supplementary Cementing Materials Optimization System is in development until early 2011. This presentation was given to attendees of the SOS User Consultation Workshop held in Vancouver on December 11 2008. Participants were then engaged in discussion for feedback to assist in the development of the SOS to ensure it is a tool that will respond to the needs of the construction & design industry.
